"Bring and Bid Auctions"
Beginning January 2022, "Bring & Bid" Auctions
are being held on odd months at our Saturday
Meetings at the Phoenix Centre, Phoenix Place, London WC1X

London, beginning ast 11.15am, The room is open from 10.30am
for the handing in, and viewing, of lots.

RESUMPTION OF ROOM AUCTIONS WITH POSTAL
BIDDING - SEPTEMBER 2022
Our
traditonal room auctions with postal bidding are to resume on 10 September
2022 and will once again be held as part of our London Meetings on "Odd
Months".
Catalogues will be distributed to members with the preceding issue of
Stamp Lover.

Casanova, is pleased to hear from members who have lots to offer for sale
in this Auction and in this regard please read the following

INSTRUCTIONS FOR "BRING & BID AUCTIONS"
Please note that our Constitution requires
that sellers are members of the National Philatelic Society. That can easily
be remedied simply by going to How to Join the
National PS |

- Please bring your lots to the meeting at
10.30am so thety may be viewed ahead of the start of the auction at 11.15am
(i.e. do not send in by post), listing them on a
Vendor's Form
which should be signed.(Forms will also be available on the day).
- Lots will be grouped and laid out for
viewing according to vendor.
- Each vendor will be
issued with a letter
code, If you have a code from a previous auction, this may be used.
- Please prefix your lots with your letter
code. And do not forget to mark the reserve !
- The auctioneer will sell the lots according
to vendor code ,in alphabetical order.
- Bids will be recorded on the vendor sheets.
- Once the successful bidders have paid for
their lots, then the total sales per vendor will be added up and our usual
15% commission will be deducted.
- Vendors will be paid after settlement either
by cash or cheque at the end of the auction.
- Any unsold lots must be taken home by the
vendor.
