  • Fiji Picture Postcards - David Alford examines eight picture postcards sent from Fiji at the beginning of the last century.

  • The Stamps of the Leeward Islands - A View from the Archives - Part 4 King George VI by Peter Mellor - A look at the new pictorial stamps and wartime postage  rate changes and a glimpse behind the scenes at how the introduction of presidential high values brought welcome relief to at least one Presidency in the harsh postwar world.

  • So what is ABPS Harrogate all about and what is the National PS Meeting all about? - Chris oliver describes what is on offer at Harrogate 2008 including the National PS country meeting there on Friday 2 May, which features displays by members and a talk by Michael Sefi FRSPL, Keeper of the Royal Philatelic Collection.

  • Bohemia & Moravia  - Tony Bosworth, FRPSL displayed at the January 2008 Meeting of the National Philatelic Society and Mike Goodman describes the display for the benefit of those who were unable to be present. 

  • Odd Jottings - Burn this Instantly - Reflections on attitudes - old on new - on the keeping of letters

  • New Issues Spotlight 
    -  The centenary of Port Jeanne d'Arc and new low value definitives from the 
           French Southern & Antarctic Territories
     
    -  Translating the new NVI insect stamps from Sweden
    Commemorating the quality of Czech Stamp Production
    -  Tariff rises in Britain, Denmark and France - a look at the resultant new
          stamps and a few price comparisons
    Germany marks the 50th anniversary of its Cartel Office Cartel Office
    Denmark says farewell to postal labels.

  • Window of the World  - Barrie Glover looks back with gratitude on his years as a collector.
     

  • Saint-Exupéry - Aviator, Air mail Pioneer & Author - Alan Bartlett looks at the life of this aviator, pioneer of early airmail flights and famous author, including stamps and covers that form part of his story. 

  • The Stamps of the Leeward Islands - A View from the Archives - Part 4 The Final Years by Peter Mellor - The Governor's proposal's don't find favour in London but local persistence ensures we get the Elizabethan Key Plates in 1954. The federal issues finally end in 1956, but despite what the catalogues say, not every federal stamp was invalidated on 1 July 1956.
