  • The Three-quarter face portrait of King George VI on British Colonial stamps - Brian Livingstone, FRPSL describes how the Bertram Park's photograph taken in 1934 when the King was still Duke of York, was used in many of the colonial stamps for the new reign. 

  • Some Austrian mail carried by glider -  Commemorative postcards were carried by glider to mark the Graz philatelic exhibition of 1933 and the Austrian stamp centenary in 1950 as Keith Tranmer explains.

  • British Army Postmarks of WWI - Millions of postcards were sent from the front during the First World War and Dave Hill explains how these were handled and the markings to be found. 

  • Checklist of articles in the philatelic press - July - December 2013.

  • Fanning Island, the Pacific island tied up in cable history - the story of an island that was key to the laying if the Vancouver - New Zealand cable in 1902 and of the New Zealand postal agency that preceded the use of Gilbert & Ellice Island stamps, is told by Keith Johnson.

  • Friends learn about postal labels, security and more and Debden - Brian Livingstone describes a visit to the British Postal Museum & Archive store at Debden.

  • Some Propaganda from the Great War 1914-1918 - Less  propaganda material was produced in the First World war than in the Second, but Keith Tranmer looks at examples at five German labels and of postcards dropped on Germany by Britain.

  • Colonial troops in World War I - This article by Philip Townsend features cards and covers relating to Indian and British and French colonial troops who fought in the war.
