- Stamp Lover, the Society's
32 page illustrated magazine, sent free to members six times a year. First
issued in 1908, Stamp Lover has become renowned for its wide variety of
philatelic articles and news.
Members may also submit a free classified advertisement for their wants and
sales in each issue.

may buy or sell material
- Auctions -
Over 650 lots of Stamps, Postal History and Accessories etc in the large
Room/Postal auction with bids acceptable in the room and by post for those not
able to attend.
- Book Sales
A large bi-monthly list of second hand books and catalogues is available on a
"First Come - First Served" basis. A list is sent to members with every issue of Stamp Lover.
- "Shop Window"
members may purchase albums, catalogues, accessories and philatelic books and
publications at advantageous prices. It offers the convenience of home delivery
Access to an impressive
Library comprising over 7,500 volumes
plus an extensive range of periodicals from many parts of the world. Most of
the books and some of the periodicals may be borrowed for up to one month by
members through visiting the Library or by post. A superb selection of stamp
catalogues from the UK, USA and many other countries may be consulted at the
Library.The library is now

However postal book loans and scanning are now available, and
members may collect (or return) a book without entering the building but
only after first telephoning the library stating the title and author of
the book and agreeing a date and time on which the member will collect
or return the book.
